According to a statement from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, senior IAS official Rajesh Kumar Singh took over as Secretary of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) on Monday. Anurag Jain, who was named Secretary of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, was succeeded by him. Singh formerly served as the department of animal husbandry and dairying's secretary.
