Anurag Thakur's Charged by Wrestler Vinesh Phogat During #MeToo Protest

Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat, along with other top wrestlers, is protesting against the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh over sexual harassment charges. Phogat criticized Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur for not taking any action and forming a committee instead. The wrestlers had previously met with an official, but no action was taken. The WFI chief asserted that if he resigns, it would mean accepting the allegations raised by the wrestlers. Delhi Police have registered two FIRs against Singh over the allegations. The wrestlers have been protesting at Jantar Mantar for the past six days.
